on matters affecting the use of the air arm in the
Persian Gulf

* Xt is, however, of the highest
importance tnat the High Commissioner for Iraq
should be kept fully Informed of all developments
that are likely to affect in any way the dispositions
of the Hoyal Air yorce in that country. fhe
following xrocedure lias therefore been approved
to regulate correspondence of the character
in question:-
(a) In the following matters the heaident may
communicate direct with the Air officer Commanding
but he should take steps to ensure that a copy of
any c cxaraunieation which he address s to the Air
Officer Commanding is sent simultaneously to
the Office of the High Commissioner
(1) Questions concerning the development
of the air route along the Arabian littoral
of the ierslan Gulf;
(&) Requests for aircraft to be placed at
the disposal of the esident for his
transportation
