Masih Khan’s son, Amanullah Khan, came in to see Major Pulley at Jamileh,
and asked for instructions. He also stated that his father had made terms with
Ehtesham.
An attack Was made on a house in Kazerun occupied by some of our agents
on the 27th March. Our patrols drove off the assailants, but one of our agents
was killed. It has been since ascertained that one of the assailants was killed
and two wounded, but so far they have not been traced.

Vice-Consul, who is proceeding on short leave to India.
A telegram was received on the night of 18th-19th February from His Majesty’s
Consul, Yezd that Jaffar Quh had occupied the road from Akda to Ardekan cut
tlie telegraph lines and was busy looting. The Vice-Consul asked for South Persia
Kitles assistance, and a co'umn was despatched from Kerman under Cantain
Preston On the 22nd February, however, a telegarm was received informing the
Officer Commanding Brigade that the Governor had the situation well in hand
and that South Persia Rifles assistance was not necessary. The column Was
therefore ordered to return to Kerman. ' J- rue column was
