Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. in the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. I am directed
to forv/ard, for your information and use, three copies
of the recently issued White Paper containing the proposals
of His Majesty’s Government in respect of Palestine.
The Colonial Office have been asked to arrange
for the supply to you from Jerusalem of 20 copies of
the Arabic translation of the White Paper.
A copy of this letter with one copy of the
enclosure is being sent to the Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. .
