Reports developments from Persia at length including Ally Morad Cahn's [Ali Murad Khan's] capture of Schiras [Shiraz] and Sadoo Cahn's [Sadiq Khan] suicide. The letter also reports various arrivals and departures from Bushire. It is noted that Lapering Sloop, commanded by Lieutenant Thomas Hardie, had arrived from Bussora [Basra] after being dispatched from there in hope of intercepting a christian from Aleppo (on a Galfar boat) suspected of holding French or Dutch packets bound for India.
