The letter provides a detailed description of Reis Bagur Cahn's [Ra'is Baqer Khan] attack, occupation and subsequent departure from Bushire. It also summarises the situation in Perisa and the on-going fallout following the death of Carim Cahn [Karim Khan] including the killing of Ismael Cahn, tensions between Sadoo Cahn [Sadiq Khan] and Abdul Fatee Cahn [Abdol-Fath Khan, Karim Khan's eldest son] and news that the northern provinces have been overrun by Zolfaker Cahn and the sons of Hossein Cahn. Beaumont gives thanks to his colleagues in Bussora [Basra] for their efforts to aid him. Shipped by Bunderick [Bandar-e Rig] Dow A term adopted by British officials to refer to local sailing vessels in the western Indian Ocean. Ally Noquidah via Muscat.
