DISPOSAL OF EQUIPMENT AT KHOR iOLVAI.
Kindly refer to your compliment slip 4/9/5/50
dated 1st November, 1950 enclosing letter No. 165/40-C
dated 31st October from Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Sultanate of Muscat and Oman.
2. The local-built boat already has an outboard
engine in it which could be sold with the boat if
desired. The boat is at present used as a harbour
launch by the iM aval caretaker at Khor Kuwai. The
following is a rough description of it which will be
verified at the next opportunity:-
Length 25 ft., Beam 6-7 ft.. Draught 2 ft..
Strongly built of local wood. Flush strakes.
Square transom cut away to take outboard motor.
Painted white. Similar to dhows used for
pearling but on a smaller scale. Good engine.
