On the 29th October the grievous news was received
that Wing-Coinrnander A.H.M. Rickards, O.B.K., A.F.C., Air
Liaison Officer at Bahrain had been killed when an aeroplane
in which he was a passenger crashed at Khor Gharim. The
news was received with great sorrow by all communities in
Bahrain where the late Commander Rickards' great gifts and
