The Signals Division at the Admiralty (Lt.Cdr,
Lace) inform## me that this station has been established
by the Company at the request of the Admiralty.
The matter was not referred to us in advance
by the Admiralty and I have therefore asked them to
explain the matter fully to you.
I also mentioned the matter to the Chairaan
of the Wireless Telegraphy Board (Group Captain Leonard-
Williams), who was included in the circulation of the
telegram. He told me that he had also spoken to the
Admiralty suggesting that they should give you the
necessary information direct.
