I have the honour to refer to your endorsements
Nos 2315 and 209 of 1931 And 1932 respectively and to say
that it is difficult to report on the case unless I am
given greater details as to what is required of me. The
correspondence has been carried on between the Adviser, and
Mr Khunj^s solicitors, and also his local agent; and the
Municipality and Mr Khunj^s solicitors and his local agent,
and the solicitors have At various tines also addressed this

also entered into the correspondence.
2, The actual situation at the moment is that an
agreement was arrived at regarding the division of the ice
plant, \ of which I enclose a copy ) and the Municipality
have removed their share to another site. There remains
the division of the building, half of which belongs to
Shaikh Bamad and the otner half to Mr Khunji, and the pay
ments of half the profits mode by the Municipality during
the year they worked the plant, amounting to some Ks 2000/-
3 . Before paying the amount earned in the year 1930,
the Adviser has asked for the accounts previous to tnc di
vision to be supplied to him. Since Mr Khunji’s agent in
variably showed a heavy loss as Shaikn Hamad’s share oi a
year*s working, and the } unicipality made a handsome profit
in the year they ran it ^ though charging one instead of
three annas a pound for ice) it will be appreciated that
some explanation is required.
