The following miscellaneous information has also come to
hand:*
A second attempt, hs unsuccessful as the first, was recently
made to blow up the line between Abd El Rahman and El Alamein.
The enemy camp at Harumam has decreased much in size.
A largf number of rifles were recently landed at Port Bardia
and are stored in ten magazines at Bir Gfarassa. They tap*
are
said to be Russian and they were being distributed ti those of
the Muhafzia and Arabs who had Greek rifles. There were also
said to be as many as 20,000 sacks of rice and barley at Bir
Garassa awaiting distribution. It is said that two Germans
recently reached El Abiar, and that Sayed Idrisi was expected to
