Prom the enclosed correspondence it will be seen that, at
the end of March last, when we began to negotiate with the
Persian Ministry of Health for the safe of the Sabzabad Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India.
together with the Bahmani Plant, we had no knowledge of the
existence of even the first consignment of new e quipment. that
mentioned in Political Resident A senior ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul General) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Residency. 's Express letter 56 -IIP 962 of the
27 th September 1947 (Enclosure IH.) For some reason best known

copies of correspondence about it from the Government of India
