A small hamlet on the
north side of the
harbour, and at the

flows in the river on
occasions of heavy
rains in the hills,
but a large supply of
excellent water can
nearly always be
obtained by digging
shallow wells in the
dry bed.

The report is dated 1909 and was printed at the Government Central Press, Bombay.
