FOR the purposes of this summary the Arabian Peninsula may be said to xie
south of a line joining Aqaba at the northern end of the Red Sea to Koweit at
the northern end of the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. . Included in this area are the following
States, sheikhdoms or territories, in most of which petroleum concessions have
been, or are likely to be, obtained :—
