The map accompanies The Campaign in Mesopotamia 1914-1918. Volume IV , and shows a region around the Jabal Hamrin hills in central and eastern Iraq, indicating towns, settlements, routes, railways and watercourses. Sketch marks give some indication of relief, and a brief note below the title describes the extent of the railway.

Prepared in the Historical Section of the Committee of Imperial Defence, and printed at the Ordnance Survey in 1927.
