Content

The map accompanies The Campaign in Mesopotamia 1914-1918. Volume IV , and shows a region around Ramadi in central Iraq, indicating military positions, towns, settlements, routes, cultivation and watercourses. Sketch marks give some indication of relief, and a brief note on the right-hand side describes British and Turkish positions printed in red and green.

Prepared in the Historical Section of the Committee of Imperial Defence, and printed at the Ordnance Survey in 1926.
