Re-Batteries
Herewith another suggested permit form
with an explanatory note about price.
Such is the condition of Kanoo f s damaged
stock that it cpuld not possibly be described as
consisting of so many damaged batteries. It is an
assortment of salvage, including everything from
badly cracked batteries to separate parts fit to
use in repairing existing batteries. I see no reason
why we should not allow a purchaser to use his permit
to buy a completely damaged battery and with it to
make good an existing battery, which he would then
present to us for examination and marking. In this
way we might get fifty working batteries in use,where'
as if we try to force Kanoo to confine his sales to
reasonably complete units only slightly defective the
number might be limited say, hvycnty;
Am I right in saying that if Kanoo sells thi:
stock he cannot legally claim full value for insurant
