blowing here, but as I said in roy telegram No. 90, I think, the
real reason(apart from poor health), why the Shaikh is difficult,
is because he is terrified of underhand methods being used
against him by the delegates and in particular of a family
intrigue being started through Shaikh Abdulla as Salim and
arrived with many mutilations -• X polled on the shaikh at 4.30
P.M. on 9th April in his Gamp at BIYAN (situate some 7 miles
from Kuwait).
