The map accompanies The Campaign in Mesopotamia 1914-1918. Volume I , and shows a region near Nasiriya [Nasiriyah] in south-eastern Iraq, indicating military operations, settlements and vegetation. Rivers and marshes are printed in blue.

Prepared in the Historical Section of the Committee of Imperial Defence, and printed at the Ordnance Survey in June 1922.
