Our attention has been invited by the Co^andant of
Police, Southern Desert, to the fact that the Kuwait tribal
and urban population are trading in "Webley* pistols bearing
likely to be of the pistols stolen from the Army, of which
the particulars are given in the enclosed lists.
It is requested that you will invite the attention
pf the authorities concerned to the matter, with a view to
searching for the dealers (in these pistols) and ascertaining
how they came to be in possession of the same.
