The map shows pearl banks found along the coastline of Arabia between Ras Tanura and Dubai, including Bahrain, Qatar, and Abu Thabi [Abu Dhabi]. The pearl banks are marked by a small circle and number (1-184) in red ink. The numbers correspond to a table that accompanies the map (folios 14-17) in which the name, degrees latitude, and degrees longitude are given for each pearl bank.
