The map shows a region of central Palestine, indicating cities, towns, boundaries, railways, roads, tracks, hydrology, vegetation, cultivation and relief with contours and spot heights A point on a map at which the height of the land is recorded. . The map consists of sections of Survey of Palestine 1:100,000 Series sheets 5, 6, 7 and 8 pasted together, and is intended to be placed behind the tracing paper map at folio 142.
The map was compiled and drawn by the Survey of Palestine in 1935, with revisions made in 1937.
