2, Government of India had been expecting Bose would
be used for Radio Propaganda from Russia, Italy or Germany,
but hothing of the sort has eventuated. It seems pi'obable
therefore that he is still in Afghanistan, Meantime it has
now become common knowledge on the frontier that he had
crossed into Afghanistan*
3* Unless you see strong objection it is suggested
that efforts should now be made through Intelligence sources
available to you to locate him. If he is located in
Afgteuustan it will be considered whether demand should
be presented to Afghan Government to deal with him under
rul.es of practice..
