Abdul Latif, a Kuwait subject, was granted an Emer
gency Certificate No.x-26l92 by the Government of
Bombay on 26th June 1946 for travel to Kuwait via
Iraq.

on 24th November 1944 f°r travel
to Kuwait via Iraq but he did not travel on it. In
the year 1944 ho came to the notice of the Government
of Bombay for his illegal trading activities and he
was served with orders of deportation from British
India issued by the Government of India. He was asked
to leave British India by the 1st April 1946* but he
could not do so owing to shipping difficulties.
2. As he is being deported it is requested that
he should not be granted passport facilities for
India without reference to the
Government of Bombay
