Nisdm-ul-Sultcmeh —Late Governor-General of Luristan, previously
Governor of Bushire, Arabistan, and Bars. Said to have gone over to Germans
(20th January 1916); reported wavering from them (2nd March 1916), but
was with a force and 4,000 Turks concentrating between Sir-i-Pul and Pai
Tak (19th March 1916). Was pursued from Kermanshah by Pateh-ul-
’Ayala of Kermanshah and Sardar Leader of a tribe or a polity; also refers to a military rank or title given to a commander of an army or division. Ijlal. He got away to Hulailan where he is
seeking protection with the Wali of Pusht-i-Kub (25th March 1916). Has
now deserted the waning power of the rebel party. (28th April 1916).

Begiment, at Sinn. ( 8 th October 1915).

calls himself 6t Commandant of ’Iraq and district
40 years old, with brown beard. Beported imprisoned
by Von der Goltz and sent under escort to Constan
tinople. (19th Pebruary 1916).
