in ” 15th August 1915]. He and Alawi al-Marhij lay claim to be leaders
of the Bani Sa’id.

Nakoi?) ibn Hamad .—Of Bait Jindil, uncle of Alwan, with Sabri Bey
on 1st June 1916 at Mhairayah.
Ndmuk Bey .—Officer Commanding, 35th Division (appointed 18th June
1915), at Nasiriyah ( 10 th July 1915). Was wounded at Ctesiphon, replaced
by Enver Bey as Officer Commanding, 35th (12th January 1916). Deported
to have died of wounds.

Nasif Bey .—Officer Commanding, 2nd Begiment of 2nd Division. (17th
