Memorandum:-
After discussion vsith the Police Department I have
come to the conclusion that a new rule is necessary for the
control^!raders inimotor vehicles and other persons who as©
on the roads in Bahrain unregistered vehicles whose normal
registration for permanent use in Bahrain is not necessary
as these vehicles are for sale and exportation.
The enclosed is a draft of the proposed new rule which
can be introduced under Regulation 5 of the Motor Vehicles
Regulations of 1939.
I should be obliged if you would inform me whether
you approve of the proposed rules.
It is also proposed that persons failing to pay their
registration fees within the prescribed 10 days from the
date of expiry of license shall he required to pay a late
fee in accordance to the enclosed scale.
