Your telegram No. 156 (of March 14th.)
Bahrain Mirza has heen informed merely tnat His
Majesty's Government and Russian Government would wish
the Zil es Sultan to return to Persia. He rs now
returning to Nice to fetch the Zil es Sultan. On
latter's arrival I will inform His Royal Highness
that the two Governments will back his nomination as
Governor General of Ispahan. No mention of thiu
appointment has been made to Prince Bashram as it was
thought better that the information should be given
direct by me to the Zil.
