Sir,
With reference to your despatch No# 147 (£ 1170A1/^1)
of the 9th March, I have the honour to inform you that
Gerhardt Breisnick arrived in ’Iraq from Syria on the 15th
November, 1932, in company with a German Jew merchant named
Frans Rerenthal# Both remained for several days in
Bagdad and then, after visiting Kerbela and Ur, arrived
in Basra on the 13th December, 1932* There they remained
until the 21st December when they left for Abadan*
Roeenthal returned to ’Iraq and left for Persia on the
27th January, 1933*
2* I regret that I have no information concerning
Breisnick’s activities in the Peraian Gulf*
