creek and reached Dubai on the 20th. He left for Bahrain on
the 21st.

disease on the Truclal Coast and accounted for one fifth of
the new cases treated by the Medical Officer. The following

In November a suspected case of cholera was
reported in Dubai. Every possible precautionary measure was
taken, including inoculation of the public both in Dubai and
Sharjah. About one fourth of the population of both towns was
