1665. I hope to he able to inform you shortly
that Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran. States (Emergency) Order in
Council has been issued. Meanwhile please make
following alterations in draft Defence Regulations.
Since criminal jurisdiction over Muscat subjects
in service of Political Agent A mid-ranking political representative (equivalent to a Consul) from the diplomatic corps of the Government of India or one of its subordinate provincial governments, in charge of a Political Agency. now rests with Sultan
(see Article 16(1) of new treaty and article 17(3)
of new Order, in Council v/hich will shortly be brought
into force) last words of Regulation No. 1 should
run ,r referred to in paragraphs (l) and (3) of Article
8 of the Muscat Order in Council A regulation issued by the sovereign of the United Kingdom on the advice of the Privy Council. IGIS”, and the
following words should be deleted from the end of
