Intelligence Summary of the
Political
Agency
An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, headed by an agent.
, Bahrain, for
the period 16th to 31st March 1945
Seventeen ships called at Bahrain during the period under
report. Eleven of them were of British registry, four American,
one Norwegian and one Dutch. The imports were 1,525 tons general
cargo for Bahrain and 6 tons for transhipment to Saudi Arabia.
The exports consisted of 159 tons general cargo and 1,17,200 tons
petroleum products.
