Letter regarding the behaviour of the crew of the bullfinch whilst in Bahrein which had caused some rows, Grant's concern that the rows may escalate owing to their drunken behaviour and his intention to go aboard the bullfinch to discuss the matter with Captain Charles Arthur Lodder.

The letter also reports on the general situation of the Island highlighting that there have not been any robberies there for some time.
