Letter regarding the rumours that Sayed Torkee [Turki bin Said] had left Bushire with the intention of going to Kowait [Kuwait] and speculation regarding his intentions towards Sayed Soulem [Salim II bin Thuwaini] and Muscat which could require the Berenice remaining there.
The letter also discusses Sayed Soulem's ban on people arriving or departing after sunset; the news that the servant of Sayed Towainee [Thuwaini bin Said] who had allegedly been 'walled up' in a Sohar prison had died and rumours of the Wahabees [Wahhabi] among others making financial claims against Sayed Soulem.
