The letter discusses Sheik Sadoon's [Sheikh Sa‘dūn] attempts to levy an annual charge of 1000 rupees Indian silver coin also widely used in the Persian Gulf. on the Company's broker Often a local commercial agent in the Gulf who regularly performed duties of intelligence gathering and political representation. in Bushire, a contravention of the agreement made with the Sheikh and the grants and privileges given them by Karim Khan. Requests that this issue be raised and resolved with the Khan.
