The letter is a follow up to the previous one of the 20 July 1765 [IOR/R/15/1/1, ff 74v-75] and contains the news that Carem Khaun [Karim Khan] is heading to Schirass for the summer, and the unconfirmed reports that the Sally has been taken by the Chaub [Banu Ka‘b] and a fleet of Company ships has arrived at Muscat.
