Letter regarding the satisfactory handling of affairs at Bushire and informing Edwards that any prohibition on the export of coin must be reported to the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. by the Minister, and asking Edwards to write to the minister to clarify the situation.
The letter also outlines Pelly's forthcoming travel plans in handling the Muskat / Wahabee [Wahhabi] dispute including his intention to visit Bombay; informing Edwards that a number of subjects may emigrate from Bunder Abbass [Bandar Abbas] as the Persians are threatening to resume their ownership of the port and asking that Edwards keep an eye on Mr Johnston who has been interfering in matters at Bunder Abbass [Bandar Abbas].
