Letter regarding Pelly's intention to visit a tomb on the Persian side of the Gulf and provide a detailed description of it for Ferguson once the dispute between the Wahabees [Wahhabi] and the Sultan of Muskat has been settled as well as his hope of visiting the ruins of the ancient city of Istakhr near Persepolis too.

The letter also refers to the report on the Pearl Fisheries in Bahrein [Bahrain] and the intention to transfer oysters from there to India, as well as his work in arranging for dredges to collect shells and his report on his trip to Riyath [Riyadh] which has yet to be completed.
