The letter contains the request that a letter from the Bombay Presidency The name given to each of the three divisions of the territory of the East India Company, and later the British Raj, on the Indian subcontinent. to Jaafer Khan [Ja‘far Khan Zand] not be forwarded at all, giving several reasons. It is suggested that a written agreement be entered into with Sheikh Nasir [Sheikh Nāsir] of Bushire. Also briefly mentions the purchase of Carmenia [Kirmān] wool in Basra.
