Letter regarding tending to Pelly's plants and arranging for cuttings to be given to various people in Bushire; matters of protecol and the use of escorts when leaving the Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. ; explaining the situation with the Berenice following the resignation of Captain Low, allegations made by Mr Malcolm against the steamers engineers, problems with its engines in February which had required all the engineers to remain onboard and Mr Dawes forthcoming testimony in support of the engineers.
