Chapter Five: On Resins (المقالة الخامسة في الصموغ; ff. 135r-137v);
Chapter Six: On Stones and Similar Things (المقالة السادسة في الأحجار وما يجري مجراها; ff. 137v-139v).

Below the colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text. (f. 139v) is a recipe for theriac (الدرياق) taken from the (كتاب المنجح في الصفات والعلاجات) by Abū Zakarīyā Yūḥannā ibn Māsawayh (أبو زكريا يوحنا بن ماسويه, d. 857).

Begins (f. 122v, lines 2-3):

إنّه لما كان حال المتقدمين من الأطباء المعسسين (؟) بأمر الأدوية المفردة لم يجر على نظام واحد

لأنّهم لم يحملوها بأنواع التي يحويها كل واحد من أجناسها ...

Ends (f. 139v, lines 8-10):

...إذا خلط ببياض البيض وعنبار الرحي الحجر

اليهودي حجر مستطيل محبب مشطت يحكي البسرة محدد الرأس نفتت الحصي المتولد

في الكلي إذا شرب بماء حار ...
