Letter regarding the delay in sending the Government a copy of his report on his journey to Ryadh [Riyadh] owing to work pressures; offers of assistance from the Royal Geographical Society in preparing a map of his route; of Sir Roderick Murcheson in classifying the geological samples and of Dr Joseph Hooker at The Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew in classifying the flora collected. The letter also outlines what the duties expected of him during his trip to Ryadh were.
