Letter informing the Government in Bombay of his arrival in Muscat (also given as Muskat), his meeting with His Highness' Vezeer [Vizier] and is intention to travel to Burkeh [Barka] in order to meet the Sultan there.

The letter also includes Pelly's initial thoughts on the quarrel between Muscat and the Wahabees [Wahhabi] and where the British Government's obligations and interests might lie with regards to the quarrel.
