Kemball writes of incidents occurring on parts of the Trucial Coast A name used by Britain from the nineteenth century to 1971 to refer to the present-day United Arab Emirates. ruled by the sheikhs of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, which contravene the Maritime Truce. Kemball states that he has written to Commodore Porter of the Indian Naval Squadron, asking that patrols of the coast and mouth of the Gulf be undertaken.
