I hope to take Shapoor on my way to Busliire,
for which I shall set out in a few days, please,God.
Such was not the will of God. After a few
hours' illness, Mr. Rich died of the cholera morbus,
at Shirauz, on the 5th of October, 1821, the parti
culars relating to which are contained in the iollow-
ing letters.
