A treatise in which technical terms relating to philosophy and theoretical medicine are defined. The text was copied in late Sha‘bān 711/early January 1312.

مقالة في ذكر الحدود

التي بمعرفتها يتجوهر العقل الإنساني

وفي إيراد الفروق التي بها يتم للنفس

الناطقة التفرقة بين الأمور المتقاربة المعاني

قال الشيخ الأجل الكامل الفيلسوف أبو الحسن

سعيد بن هبة الله بن الحسن الطبيب أطال الله بقاه

وأدام عسره

ما هو الحد الحد هو قول وجيز غاية الإيجاز

دال على طبيعة الشيء المحدود ...

... وبقية البثور لما كانت تحدث عن

فصلات الغذاء ورداءه مزاج البدن صار وجودها في

سائر الأوقات فهذا كانفي فيما دمناه ومقنع

فيما قصدناه ولواهب العقل ومانح الفضل والحمد لله

وهو حسبنا ونعم الوكيل ...
