This letter, received 11 April 1802, concerns eighty bales of perpetuanoes [perpetuanas] that were received at Bussora [Basra] from Bushire, on 4 January 1802, via the Governor Duncan, as the remains of the damaged woollens from the Diamond. It is followed by an account of the bales in question.
