Letter informing Pelly of the gunboat Hugh Rose 's departure for Gwadur [Gwadar] and of Dalhousie 's presence in the area.

The letter also discusses the availability of coal for the Gulf and the proposal that it be kept at Bassidore until matters at Muscat calm down.
