Letter informing Percival that should the Governor of Bombay be willing to appoint him as Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. • Letter from Edward Hope Percival, Mahableshwar to Abraham Hojel Nickson 14 May 1866 informing him that the assistantship positions had not been sanctioned as yet and enquiring whether he would consider the position of Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. Surgeon at Bushire pending the decision from Government on the assistantships.
