The latter part of the file concerns the state of the pearling industry in Qatar; the case of a pearl thief in 1915, involving the Shaikhs of Qatar, Bahrain and Sharjah; and relations between Qatar and Bahrain as told by Ṣāliḥ al-Māni‘ (folios 213-217).
