The letter is enclosing a copy of a letter from Francis Warden, Chief Secretary to the Government, Bombay to Edward Barnard, Commander of HMS Conway , dated 23 October 1818; the content of which Mr Henderson would like the Resident to make known to the Shaikh of Bahrain. The enclosed letter explains that the Commander of the HC Cruizer Antelope, along with any witnesses, may need to travel to Bombay, depending on the findings of his investigation.
